Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Digital One ("we", "us", "DGOne") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit dgone.ai or contact us. We try to keep this short and honest. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@dgone.ai.

Who we are

Digital One is a cloud services company based in Cairo, Egypt, and is registered in Egypt. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run the website.

Information you provide

• Information you submit through our contact form: name, company (optional), work email, phone (optional), country (optional), area of interest, and message.
• Information you submit through our careers application form: full name, mobile, email, LinkedIn profile, resume / CV, and the role you're applying for. Application materials are retained for as long as the role is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for ongoing recruitment consideration (typically up to 24 months), then deleted unless we've agreed otherwise with you.
• Any information you include in direct email to hello@dgone.ai.

Information collected automatically

• Technical request data needed to deliver the website: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used for security, anti-abuse, and basic operations.
• Cookies set by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance.
• Analytics data collected via Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization enabled) — pages visited, time on page, device/browser type, approximate geography, referrer. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve content. See the Cookies section below for more.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries you send via the contact form or email.
• To deliver and secure the website (operations, fraud prevention, abuse detection).
• To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described below.

Third parties who process data on our behalf

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, and bot protection (via Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form) for dgone.ai. Cloudflare processes request data (e.g., IP addresses, browser signals used by Turnstile) as part of delivering the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. When you submit the contact form, your message and the contact details you provide are sent through a Cloudflare Pages Function and relayed to our delivery email address via Resend. See Resend's privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — privacy-respecting web analytics. We have IP-anonymization enabled. We use Analytics for aggregate insight only; we do not link it to advertising identifiers or share data for ads personalization. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. To opt out across all sites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• GitHub — source code hosting (private repository). GitHub does not have access to visitor data.

Cookies

Essential cookies are set by Cloudflare for security and performance (e.g., __cf_bm, cf_clearance). These cannot be disabled and do not track you across other websites.

Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 (e.g., _ga, _ga_*). They record an anonymous client identifier and let us aggregate how the site is used. They are set only on first-party requests to dgone.ai and do not share data with Google Ads. You can disable them by using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above, or by blocking third-party requests to googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com in your browser or extensions.

We do not use cookies for advertising, social media tracking, or cross-site profiling.

How long we keep it

• Contact form submissions are retained in our email for as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business records, typically up to 24 months.
• Server logs (IP addresses, request metadata) are retained by Cloudflare per its policies (typically days to weeks).

Where it's processed

Our website is delivered globally via Cloudflare's edge network. Form submissions are processed via Web3Forms and routed to our email delivery provider. Both services are operated outside Egypt.

Your rights

Subject to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 / 2020) and applicable international standards, you may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit (TLS encryption end-to-end) and at rest. No method is 100% secure, but we work to make a real breach unlikely and rapidly contained if it ever occurs.

Children

This website is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
